I have lived in Lisbon, where I had an Erasmus placement in 1998. Since 2005 I work as a political scientist, and was awarded a PhD in Contemporary History at the University of Milan.
I have been a consultant or columnist for various radio stations, television channels and newspapers, including Presa Diretta (Rai), Prós e Contras (Rtp), Jornal da Noite (Rtp), Economico TV, Sbilanciamoci.info, and Radio Popolare.
Since 2011 I have been writing for the Italian newspaper Il Manifesto.
